'25-'26 - No dry period for this beautiful, hard-worker. Raziyah milked 13.0# on her last test from the 2025 lactation in Feb '26, then in March she was milked in the morning, freshened after lunch, then was milked again that evening to start her '26 lacation! She was then shown all Summer, finished her championship and still milking 17# in September!

We love the style of this huge yearling since she's so similar to her dam, Klaire. She and her littermate were the first 2 Old-English Nathan daughters to freshen here. Like all Nathan kids, these twins started out correct and big, then freshened beautifully. Nathan's dam is Old-English Narnia, who is also the dam of SGCH(pend) Old-English Piper 9*M, a current top show and production doe.

The length of for udder is especially impressive and we really look forward to another freshening on this doe! Both Skipper and Shelby2 were recipiant does and neither came into a normal amount of milk. Interesting, but in talking with another breeder who experienced the same with recips, said they freshened normally the following Spring...

Oh my, much like her dam, we would be happy to take this mammary, particularly the height, widthand arch of rear udder on every yearling! While Trelaney doesn't have the length of bone or smoothness of blending of other yearlings, she certainly has the width and power.

Brian has been quite a fan of her AI sire since the 90's when there were such beautiful ones primarily in the Singing-Spruce herd in Illinois! This doe certainly has the general appearance and mammary system. Teat placement is mid-range, but delineation could be improved.

Endearingly called "AlpSaff", because there are 2 Saffrons here on DHIR. This beauty was purchased as a kid because of her unusual coloration that is Guernsey-colored. What an outstanding pedigree too! She has the most amazing, sweet temperament, beautiful general appearance, and an absolutely lovely mammary system. Spectacular teat placement. I couldn't be more pleased with her! In 2025, AlpSaff answered the call and delivered a doeling x Hadrian, Tatienne, who is much like her dam & a doeling x PB Caetano in 2026. Currently bred to new Guernsey Jr herdsire, Valerian.

For some time Brian wanted a solid black Alpine amoungst all the Saanens. There was a deposit for years without a solid black so when the breeder contacted with this baby pic, it was an easy "Yes"! Bugsy's turning out to be very nice in addition to having an excellent temperment. Just a fun aside with a great pedigree.
Update, WOW - Bugsy's maternal sister was the 2026 ADGA National GCH!!!
