Old-English Jeannine, who excels in General Appearance, rear udder height and arch, is from a long and strong maternal doe line and is maternal sister to the beautiful GCH Old-English Hilda.  She is a daughter of Old-English Fannie, who we really like and who moved to another show herd.  We thought the next dam, CH Old-English Dakota had made her star in her show herd, but so far it's not appearing.  If this happens, Jeannine will be an 8*M.  Jeannine, along with herdmate, Old-English Julianna, were the top showing yearling milkers here in 2018.  She is one of the first group of Korathan daughters to freshen.
We were very pleased that even with having only a single kid in the Spring of 2019, Jeannine milked over 3000 lbs.  In 2020, Jeannine milked 17.7 at her peak, and while this wasn't the highest peak in the herd, we are very happy with her level lactation curve.  We loved her 2020 kids sired by *B Old-English Xibo, so much so that we retained one son named *B Old-English Justen for a junior herd sire and this cross was repeated for 2021 kids.  Since she had not had a doe in her first 3 freshenings, we were excited for 2 doelings in the Spring of 2021!
